Online order payment will be made using PayPal™. On PayPal, you can choose to use either a credit card or a PayPal account.

There are two ways of paying for your Road Toad trailer: Down Payment or Pay in Full.

PAY IN FULL : Pay the entire amount now, using PayPal™. Click on the "Pay in Full" button below the order Total. Your order will be confirmed, by email, and you will be given, by email, an approximate completion date for your trailer.

DOWN PAYMENT : Pay a down payment of ... now and pay the remainder later by personal check, bank check, credit card, PayPal, or cash. Click on the "Pay Downpayment" button below the order Total. You will pay the down payment amount now using PayPal. Your order will be confirmed, by email, and you will be given, by email, an approximate completion date for your trailer. You will also receive an invoice showing the remainder due. Unless arranged otherwise, this remaining amount must be paid when your trailer is completed.

TAXES : If you pick up your trailer at the Road Toad facility in Necedah, Wisconsin, you will be required to pay 5.5% Wisconsin Sales Tax when you pick up your trailer.

If your home state charges more than 5.5% sales tax, you will be required to pay the difference to your home state when you register your trailer.

Road Toad is not required to charge Wisconsin sales tax to trailers delivered out of the state of Wisconsin. If you have your trailer shipped to you, you will not pay Wisconsin sales tax, but will still pay the full amount of sales tax your home state requires.

If your state does not charge sales tax, but you want to come to Wisconsin to pick up your trailer, you can avoid paying Wisconsin sales tax by having Road Toad deliver your trailer to the Minnesota State Line (about 70 miles) near La Crosse, WI. Road Toad charges a delivery fee for this service, but it is less than the sales tax. Delivering to other State Lines is not cost saving, due to greater distances.

CANCELING ORDER : If you wish to cancel your order, notify Road Toad by email as soon as possible, the timing of the cancelation will determine how it will be handled.

If you cancel within three (3) days after placing your order, you will be refunded your full down payment or full price paid.

If you cancel more than three (3) days after placing your order, a $300.00 cancellation fee may apply.

If Road Toad has started building your trailer before you cancel your order, Road Toad will continue building the trailer. If you Paid in Full, you will be refunded your purchase amount minus the down payment amount. Upon completion, Road Toad will list the trailer online using Ebay and/or teardrop discussion forums to sell the trailer. When the trailer sells, you will be refunded your down payment amount, minus the $300.00 cancellation fee and any selling fees.
